Finally get to participate in an actual race since Feb 2020. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k Nov 1st 2020. Huge thank u to @runthroughuk for putting on a another well organised event and another shootout to @sideris2004 for cheering me on and being my wing man for the day. Had a great day and the rain held out. First race for aggggeesss! With @runthroughuk at Olympic Park. Only my second time ever running sub 40 mins for 10k, so pretty happy with that, and know once I get more consistent with training that will come down. #10k today with @runthroughuk to replace the @eastlondonhalf. I chose to #run today and I am delighted to have received 1 #medal for today #race plus the chunky one from the #halfmarathon. And the t-shirt. Thank you @runthroughuk you guys are unique. Of course I will go out and deserve my big medal anytime soon. I also tried to set my new 10k #pb: I pushed so hard all the way, down and uphills, and my last km has been my quickest. Sadly, while my Garmin cheered me with a new pb, I saw that back in Wimbledon 2018 I ran faster.
