Han: What we aiming for Soph? Me: Errrr maybe around 50 mins? May be a push though. Outcome: Dipped under 47 mins for a controlled tempo. The thought of flapjack and breakfast with the girls (plus Daz!) was clearly a winner!

??‍♀️?Olympic Park Christmas 10km this morning with @runthroughuk ??‍♀️?? . The Olympic Park was the course for my first ever 10km 2 years ago so it's always been one of my favourites. Stick a Christmas hat on me and I'm golden ?? . Having said that I was super tired this morning, it was mighty cold, and my brain still wanted to quit at 5km. (I need to figure out how to stop wanting to quit on lapped courses) ? But I didn't quit, I did the extra 2 laps and that's 10 more kilometers towards my @runup2christmas goal ? . Oh and I managed to smash out a 6'42 sprint finish!!! I rarely run at that pace per kilometer let alone per mile! It might explain why I dry heaved over the finish line but boy am I happy with that!! ?‍♀️? Now I'm off to spend the afternoon with friends before another 10km tomorrow morning! Hi dad (East LDN born and bred!) Windy, gloomy day so SO happy to get a big PB and ? at the @runthroughuk Olympic Park 10k this morning. It’s been such an unexpected year of running and cannot thanks @run_your_best enough for his coaching and support this year ???. Over a minute off my 5k PB, almost 2 off my 10k and almost 7 off my HM time.
