Wahhh! 1st female at the Lee Valley 10K today! And a new 10k PB of 40:55 according to Garmin! Couldn’t be happier! It’s been over two weeks since I stepped on the podium and it’s definitely a boost to get another win in the bag! As someone looking to grow and improve, I always felt a sense of dissatisfaction about where I am. As there are three disciplines to work on in triathlon, there’s always one discipline that gets overlooked. You do the best you can to juggle between them, and with life in general, but you never quite know if what you’re doing is “enough”. There is nothing better than getting a PB and knowing you have gone outside of your comfort zone and really pushed your body’s limits! Thanks Gary and George for making me sign up for this… 🙂 #leevalley10k #runthrough #10k #racing #running #10kpb #firstlady #podium

Day 28: 40 hrs after my sports massage (instead of the recommended 48) I tackled the Velodrome 10 miler with @runthroughuk . My glutes sure felt every bump, so I kept a steady pace and push too hard. Having to queue for the loos ???? after 5 miles did nothing for my time, but I finished in 1:42 which is not bad (I totally blame the bathroom break for the extra 6 mins!!) but I still managed to come first in my age group????(which is also a first ????) Wonderful bath ???? and yummy pasta ???? was had also (not at same time!), so far an excellent Saturday ????????????‍♀️???? ✅ #100activedays #100daychallenge #runthroughuk #running #longrun #firstinmyagegroup #magnesiumbath #postrunpasta
