Last race of 2018 done. Of all the @runthroughuk races, the Lee Valley Park is the one I find the most mentally tough. Just can’t deal with all of the laps. Somehow though, I always manage to pull out some half decent times/finishes. Finished 4th last time for 10 miler and scored 7th spot for 10k today ???????? More importantly, reunited with my running partner in crime @johnsonjourno who is still making me laugh after what he said at the finish line (footage of that will not be shown on any social media). This guy was here too, picking up medal number 76 for the year. Paid him back for beating me at Greenwich Park by a few seconds by returning the favour and beating him by a few minutes ???? Also, those new medals ???????? Next up, #bigendofyearrun2018 action with @manvmiles and what sounds like could be well over 100 runners ???? #run #runner #runners #running #runcrew #runthrough #runthroughuk #londonrunning #leevalleypark #10krun

????PB CLAXON???? // I set out in 2018 with the goal of running a 90 minute Half. Well I didn’t quite get there today, but I still managed to finish in 1:35 which I am SUPER proud of. Could not be happier right now???? as I genuinely wasn’t sure how my body would react after last month’s 7 ultra-marathons. // I’ve now been running a full two years, my first Half was in Feb 2017 at Wokingham where I finished in 2:05…2 years and 5 Half Marathons later and I’ve taken 30 minutes off of that time. So maybe, just maybe another 5 minutes can be shaved off in 2019? // Such an amazing day, really loved the event and how well it was organised – bonus was the finish lines drink and snacks (oh those flapjacks???? nom nom????). Kudos to all the guys and girls at @runthroughuk – amazing job????????????

The final race of the year. What a year. This represents the start of yet another comeback … the race to get back to fitness after a period of exile. Im sore and theres no pace whatsoever… but im not overtly bothered. Im more worried about shaking off these niggles which wont go away! But either way its more miles as part of this long journey. Tale of the tape … 10 miles of the Velopark. Absolutely great to see @martinrunsmiles again … what a year he has had! @laurenbarr1 and @jbfrontrunner … great to chat to you too ????. Lovely to see the crew @jackwilliams_93 @amyrobertson @hannnahgordon and @lucygraceharfield too…Im feeling a bit bloated after a period of excess … but glad ive gone through that. Not long now till i properly kick off training. Theres not much to say… @runthroughuk you guys are ACE!! Happy new year guys … see you in 2019!! — #raceday #10milerun #runner #runthroughuk #running #marathontraining #26point2 #2xurunner #london #velopark #fitness #fitnessgoals #ukrunchat #runnersofinstagram #runnersworld #runningmotivation #livethelifeyoulove #lovethelifeyoulive #ilovetorun
