? Post race selfie with my latest medal ?! And new 10k PB alert ? ? Ok it's only 20 seconds off, but I am absolutely elated, as I didn't hit a similar pace since last January. I focused mostly on upping my distance, so my pace declined a lot. ? I'll never be fast, but today I felt faster. Could be the fact that I've been trying to eat more nutritious food since finding out about my anaemia, could be the iron supplements are working! Either way I'm happy. ? I went back to the Lee Valley Velopark for @runthroughuk 10k race today, even though the weather featured clouds ☁️?and winds ? everyone was in a great mood, and the marshal towards the end of the mile loop was the most encouraging lady I could meet. Thank you for your kind words! Some easy running for me tomorrow now and one hour gained in sleep! Oh and @runcompod can mention my PB for once as I listen to their podcasts without fail each week! ?? #lonelygoatrunningclub #lonelygoatrc #runningcommentarypodcast #runthroughuk #run1000miles2019 #runnersofinstagram #londonrunners #thisgirlcanrun #10krace #pb

?️?‍♀️ How I like to spend my Saturday ??️ . The Berlin Marathon finishers tee got it's first proper outing this morning. Up until this point it had formed quite a nice pyjama top ? So it was nice to introduce it to blustery England after it had last either seen blustery Berlin or my duvet ? it was a bit drier this morning at least! ☔ . I cannot stress enough how much I love @runthroughuk ❤️ I didn't realise how much I value and miss these weekend races for the community and the good vibes until I was out there this morning. As marathon training got more intense I started enjoying running less and less, and post marathon my new job has been a bit all consuming, so I just haven't made it to a race yet this month ? I've been commuting between Manchester and London, so by the time I'm home on a Friday I've been a bit broken. Hence why this finishers tee had only so far seen either my dressing gown or duvet… But I'm starting to readjust, and Velopark is one of my favourite courses so I wanted to make time for it this morning. I'm so glad I did. ? . The running itself was not easy. I'm just getting better from a chest infection, and haven't run since Berlin so it was a bit of a shock to the system. Only 5km this morning (the shortest distance I've ever done around this course! Only 3 laps?! I'm used to 13!) but the tambourines and cheers and high fives are the absolute best way to start a weekend and so worth dragging yourself out of bed for ?? . I then spent the day with friends and food (Mac and cheese on a hot dog hello ?) and am off to an orchestral concert ?this evening so all in all a perfect Saturday! Hope you're all having a lovely weekend ? . . . #marathoner #recovery #thisgirlcan #thisgirlcanrun #runnersofinstagram #runningcommunity #runhappy #positivevibes #saturyay #fitness #runninginspiration #runnergirl #inspiringwomenrunners #happyrunner #couchto5k #couchtomarathon #runthroughuk #ukrunchat

Today race my first 10 Mile race with @runthroughuk At the Olympic Velo Park 10 laps of the track. Didn’t think I’d enjoy too much, lap running. But this course was mostly flat a few small hills. But really enjoyed it, thought there might have been a swarm of runners but quite spaced out. Also great views and support, especially the guy with the tambourine every lap words of encouragement. I actually wanted to keep on running. Will definitely do again maybe the half marathon next. Looking forward to my next runthough race next month. Furthermore, I love the fact you get filled up on snacks post-race. Name a better post-race snack than the flapjacks? I’ll wait… #run #runner #instarunning #instarun #instarunner #instarunners #runnersofinstagram #runhappy #runninglife #runsquad #runlove #runningcommunity #letsdothis #instagood #wearetherunners #nikerunclub #optoutside #runeatrepeat #stayfit #loverunning #runfordonuts #runr #ukrunchat #Medal #Finisher #takechargeldn #runthrough #runthroughuk #bestflapjacksever

After a long week and with 5 hours sleep ? last night, it wasn’t pretty waking up early, but what you’re gonna do with a half marathon ?‍♂️ on the calendar ? ?! . So nice breakfast ? and out of the door ? for @runthroughuk LeeValley VeloPark! . I had a couple of km to warm up and then the game started: 18km at 5:30min/km consistent like a clock ⏰ arrived at the last km with plenty of fuel ⛽️ in the tank for a final faster push! . So happy ? about today’s run, body felt great, and wow ? km after km hitting that pace was so cool! . Another great event by @runthroughuk , really cannot have enough of these races! . #runthroughuk #fitness #motivation #workout #training #healthy #fit #runner #cardio #fitfam #run #runhappy #exercise #sport #instafit #health #runners #instarun #instarunners #instarunner #instagood #happyrunner #fitnessmotivation #marathon #inspiration #time2run #fitnessaddict #getfit #ukrunchat
