Runthrough Victoria Park 10k. OT 40:41. New PB by 19 seconds. Great conditions, fantastic support (from both my usual ‘come on parkrun’ man and Ed) and felt on good form throughout. And always nice to do a run with friends 🙂 As ever, things to work on, but happy to PB at this distance and a good set up for the Hyde Park and Vitality 10ks later in the month. Took advantage of a work trip to London to visit Victoria Park with RunThrough. ☕ I do miss these Chase The Sun events; a really great way to get people out post-work. It was great to see some of the regulars and catch up with @marijke1000 And @happy_deaf_mike ☕ This is my first proper run in a while. My knee is still not great, but wearing a strap helped and I was able to run 5k in under 29 minutes. ☕ #run #running #lovetorun #5krun #5krace #runthroughuk #chasethesun

Went into this race aiming to break 50min 10k which I narrowly missed last race ? Accidentally paused my watch right after starting so I couldn’t see my pace ??‍♀️ Ended up running it in 46.39 which is a PB by almost 4 mins! ? After 2 years of running my dream has come true ? Thanks Runthrough for helping me achieve something I always thought was impossible

Mid-week PBs for Team Markham tonight at the @runthroughuk Chase The Sun 10k!! ?? Graham ran amazingly well and finished with more than a 2 minute PB in a time of 46:36! I was keeping pace with him for the first two kms and lost him but somehow I also managed a 10k PB….48:16!! Whaaat?!?! I struggled in this run and totally thought I blew it. I didn’t use my watch so I had no idea what my pace was. It was a real mental battle right till the end. So nice to have someone to share the accomplishment with… and share some much deserved zaaaaa after ?. I mean, I didn’t really share but anyway… blog post to follow.
