NUMBER 8

Slowest 5km in ages, but I don’t care, I’m real, not perfect. Things I learnt this evening; I’m still rubbish at hills, but even with an aching back and foot, stomach cramps and food repeating (bad experiment in eating before running, never to be repeated), I can force myself to keep going. That mental positivity far outweighs any number on a stopwatch Also, fellow runners giving encouragement as they lap you is extremely heartwarming And great cheer support from the #runthrough team #run #running #strava #garmin #halfmarathontraining #womenwhorun #fitness fitnessmotivation

And the collection continues to grow!! Absolutely smashing 5k this evening! Started off a bit wobbly because leg cramps were a bit unforgiving, BUT I managed to get a great finishing time!! * * I am super glad the weather decided to clear up. It was such a beautiful sunset! * * Also, I am super happy and thankful for what running has done for me. I have been in a tad funk these past few days and I wasn’t sure how today would go. Needless to say, I think the funk is over. Just goes to show that running is beneficial not only for physical health, but mental health as well! * * Thanks @runthroughuk for this evening!
