With short of 6 hours of sleep ? waking up for @runthroughuk Battersea Park 10k wasn’t an easy feat but rise and shine I did ?? . These events are so friendly and welcoming that warm your heart ? joining the @runthroughuk family for a good run every week ?? . Love ? Battersea Park so much that once I convinced @marathonwifey to tag along for a I-don’t-remember-how-many-laps long run ?‍♂️? . ? 9:35am, the 10k started, and I tried to keep the pace up as much as I could. So happy to have brought home a solid 46m 10k that felt amazing ? with no niggles, with legs light and strong throughout ? . Now time to rest and recharge, can’t wait to run again soon ?‍♂️? . #runthroughuk #fitness #motivation #workout #training #healthy #fit #runner #cardio #fitfam #run #runhappy #exercise #sport #instafit #health #runners #instarun #instarunners #instarunner #instagood #happyrunner #fitnessmotivation #marathon #inspiration #time2run #fitnessaddict #getfit #justdoit

If you had told me ten years ago (at 19 yrs old) I would be jogging (maybe not regularly), doing races (even if out of time, still waiting for the results) and liking it along with the benefits. I would have laughed. Two years later from my charity run, I selfishly decided to do this for me. One messed up quad/groin later, outside the time slot, being told it was madness with little training yet gaining some confidence of running again (fell out of love with exercise) all the emotions went through my mind today from swearing, talking to myself (in my head obviously!) at times feeling lonely (no idea why!!?) wanting to cry and laugh at the same time. I went on my own, ran/jogged (walked a short while annoyingly)on my own, finished on my own, got my medal on my own along with a few bubbles. My parents always say you can do anything when you put your mind to it, and they are right. May not have been the best run and seems a little thing to others, for me it wasn’t and feeling pleased as punch right now! #pleasedaspunch #10k #10krun #runthroughuk #confidence #mindset #pulledquad #running #jogging #forme #woman #ownit #justdoit #empowered #selfish #youcandoanythingyouwantifyouputyourmindtoit
