Sheffield 5K Run

The entry fee for each 5k race differs, so check out the individual event page to find out more. At the time of booking, runners can also select to purchase merch as a souvenir to remember the race. At the finish line on race day participants will receive some post-run goodies.

We offer races in Sheffield with distances of 5k, 10k, half marathon and full marathon. With some of the events, runners can choose their distance on the day!

To take part in a 5k run with us here at Run Through UK, select your race through our event calendar, and sign up. You will receive an email confirmation after you’ve booked your place – then it’s time to start training! The week of your race you will receive an information pack with all the details you need to know – including start time, your race number on event day, the location of the start and finish lines, route details, and anything else you need to know. Then, on race day, come ready to give your best! Our support team will be there to guide you on the day, or answer any questions you may have.

Very advanced runners may aim to finish a 5k in 20 minutes or less – at a pace of 6 minutes and 26 seconds per mile, or 4 minutes per kilometre. It’s impossible to say what pace you need to maintain in order to come first place on the day, it all depends on the pace of the other runners. But a time of 20 minutes or less for a 5k is considered very good.
