Join us for the RunThrough Olympic Park 5k & 10k on Saturday 21st September!

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k &10k powered by Bridgestone will be the final chapter in a three-month journey for 9 of your fellow runners, the Bridgestone Everyday Battlers. This group of 9 people were chosen from over 1,200 applicants to be a part of this team and each one has their own unique motivation for applying. Since May, they have trained together under the watchful eye of Bridgestone Ambassador and Olympic Gold medallist Chris Mears, with training plans and support provided by performance expert and sports scientist Greg Whyte. United by an unwavering drive to complete the 10K and use this experience to go on to chase their other dreams, they have persevered through their training, injuries and confidence struggles and are aiming to reach that finish line, no matter what. Keep an eye out for them on the course and cheer them on their way to the finish line. For more information about the Battlers, and the Chase Your Dream No Matter What campaign, check out nomatterwhat.uk.com.

Come and run a chip timed 5k or 10k through the incredible grounds of the North Park in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. This course is not only flat and fast, but also inspiring. The RunThrough Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k & 10k event is a great opportunity for a quick time and a fun morning out with a unique themed medal waiting for you at the finish!

Included is a themed medal, water, fruit & mince pies! Each kilometre is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish. Come and enjoy the day with us; we hope to see you there!

The nearest train, tube and bus stops are at Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill and Leyton stations.

If you are exiting out of Stratford Underground Station – take escalator or lift up to ‘The Street’ (which is the outdoor part of Westfield Shopping Centre) – follow it along, bear right at Fountain Square toward John Lewis and then left at Jamie’s Italian. At the end of the passage, cross the road into the Park.

We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, all you have to do show you number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and water at the finish. There will also be bananas & flapjacks waiting for you at the finish.

During the race

There will be marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows. The course is two laps for the 5k and four laps for the 10k on the roads/paths in the park. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park.
