Arley Hall is used to crowds. Famous for being the peaky blinders mansion, and now with it’s new Forbidden forest Harry Potter experience, people flock from across the country to visit the park. This weekend, RunThrough gave many a slightly different reason to be there.

Although this race is infamous for it’s elite front end, it’s also a great race for beginners and your more average runner, taking part for their own goals and enjoyment.

With a lively team of marshals and a Saxophonist on route, all runners were encouraged round, and greeted home by a unique medal, and T-shirt, along with race sponsored goodies: Kind bars, Love corn, Tenzing energy drink sachets, and Actiph water.

The event village was a buzz with runners and spectators exploring the RTKit Shop, optimising on Vanoffee’s coffee and making the most of the SnapFitness warm up and post race free massages, led by a wonderful team of volunteer Physio students.

The Cheshire 10k has a history of being a great race and with this year proving no different, we’re hoping to replicate the success with the next one being planned for 2022.
