JOB TITLE: Event Operations Manager

SALARY: 20K – 26K (depending on experience)
BASED: Manchester/Cheshire (travel is involved for events)
TYPE OF WORK: Mix of remote working, office based, logistical and event work
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Graduate with event experience or 1/2 years in the industry
RunThrough Events are a UK based sports events company with over 120,000 runners taking part in over 150 events per year.
We work with London based venues that include Hampton Court Palace, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Hyde Park, Regents Park and Greenwich Park.
Along with other major tourist attractions around the UK like Knebworth House, Aintree Racecourse, Thorpe Park, Tatton Park, Media City, Colchester Zoo and many more.
Ensuring the effective delivery of running events across a wide range of venues predominantly in the North of England from a central hub of Manchester/Cheshire.
Full driving licence required and prepared to drive a van. Ability to work independently and remotely during the week and to be ok with working weekends – early start, early finish.

You will be responsible for the preparation of the essential items needed for the event, visiting venues and ensuring the event is prepared for thoroughly.
On event day you will be setting up courses, event villages, managing part-time staff and working with venues to ensure the effective delivery of the event.
In addition you will be working with our directors to scope out new venues, work with the local community to enhance integration and playing an active role in the running community at large.
